For Issue #2, submissions open October 7th and close on December 15th. All approved submissions will be published and circulated on our website, and a select few in print in the spring.

 

*We are not accepting works that contains pre-existing intellectual property 

*Please make note of any potentially triggering topics in submission.
 

Examples of written work: Critical essays (ex: media analysis), research essays, short stories, autobiographical work, memoir work, and poetry.

If you are unsure if your work fits into any of these categories, please reach out to us!

 

For illustrated writing/comics: We will prioritize works that put an emphasis on writing, whether it be dialogue or narration. We do not accept silent comics. 

 

*Pictures of artwork/photography are welcome as long as they are paired with a piece of writing. Images should be your own, or if they are not, they must be transformative (ex: collage).

 

All accepted submissions will be reviewed by peer editors (fellow students!), and students will be expected to revise their work for final submission after reviews. Peer reviews are not based on the content of pieces, but for organization and clarity. Please consider the length of content submitted, for both reviewing and printing. Reviews will be finished by May 1st, and finalized version will be expected.
